Level Tw0 1-1 Mentoring
Mentoring offers young people the opportunity to have 1-1 time with a youth worker in which they can share worries, concerns, or look at any issues they are currently facing. It is very much focused on the young person and can be a fun, exciting journey, enjoying activities such as cooking, playing pool, art work, games, walking, sports, or simply just having a chat. Young people can self-refer or be referred by a parent/teacher/other agency. Mentoring sessions are usually once a week, for 8-12 weeks. For more information please contact Kirsty Coldwell on 07918 614975 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Please find our Level Two Mentoring Referral form below:

Open Access Sessions (School Years 6 and above) – see our current programme for days/times
The youth hub provides a ‘safe place’ for young people, where they can enjoy various activities with young people their own age/year group. Young people can come for 10 minutes or stay for the whole session, or come and go as they please and they don’t have to ‘join’ or attend every week. Young people can enjoy socialising, participating in creative activities, sport, using computers, and engaging in conversations with youth workers. In all sessions we address various topics where young people can explore and increase their knowledge on a variety of issues. Some of the topics include : Alcohol; smoking; addiction; physical exercise and sport; community involvement; volunteering; sexual health; diversity & equality. Please see the link below for our term time programme:
Girlzone (School Years 6-11) – Monday 4pm – 5:30pm
Boyszone – (School Years 6-11) Thursday 4pm – 5:30pm
The Girls and Boys only sessions are similar to open sessions but a little more structured. There may be organised trips, visits, guest speakers, activities and usually a circle time where young people have an opportunity to come together and share in conversation. There is always free time during which young people can use the facilities of the hub.
