A Proud Moment for Level Two and the Young People We Support
Level Two Youth Project is delighted to be taking part in this year’s Suffolk Celebration, a special one-night event bringing together some of Suffolk’s most talented performers, artists, musicians and community groups at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Sunday 21st June 2026. The event is being held in support of Suffolk Community Foundation, an organisation that has played an important role in helping charities and community projects across the county, including Level Two.
Recently featured by the Suffolk Celebration team on Instagram, one of our young people shared just how much Level Two means to them with a single powerful word: “grateful.” Another chose the word “secret” to describe what makes Level Two special – a reminder that for many young people, our youth centre is a safe place where they can be themselves, build confidence, and find support when they need it most.
Supporting Young People Across Felixstowe
For more than 30 years, Level Two has been supporting young people aged 7–25 across Felixstowe and the surrounding communities. Through free youth services, music projects, mentoring, outreach work, drama activities and wellbeing support, we help young people develop skills, confidence and positive futures.
The Suffolk Celebration organisers highlighted the impact of our work and the important connection between Level Two and Suffolk Community Foundation. Every ticket sold for the event helps support local organisations making a difference in communities across Suffolk, creating a wonderful full-circle moment for everyone involved.
Performing Alongside Suffolk’s Finest Talent
The Suffolk Celebration concert will feature an impressive line-up of performers, writers and artists from across the county. The evening includes music, dance, spoken word and specially commissioned performances celebrating Suffolk’s creativity and community spirit. The programme also includes a unique collaboration involving Level Two’s young people and legendary keyboard player Rick Wakeman.
The event takes place at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 21st June at 7:00pm and forms the cultural finale of Suffolk Day 2026. All proceeds will support the ongoing work of Suffolk Community Foundation and grassroots projects helping young people and strengthening communities across Suffolk.
Thank You for Supporting Local Young People
We are incredibly proud of the young people representing Level Two at this event and grateful to Suffolk Community Foundation, Suffolk Celebration and everyone who continues to support our work.
If you would like to see our young people perform and support charities making a difference across Suffolk, tickets are available from £25.
Together, we can continue creating opportunities, building confidence and helping young people thrive.
